Friday. Woke up earlier than usual. Had to get to Vince's house for the hush hush birthday party. With the lechon and baked mac in tow (thanks to Mom - you're the bomb!), I got there at 7:30. Didn't have the heart to wake up birthday boy coz he was up til 6PM (after night shift) to cook food. When everybody arrived at around 9, we woke Vincent up and sang him Happy Birthday :-)
Wee!
Saturday. Went to Town with Vincent and his sisters and the husbands. Of course, the dynamic duo Ian (with GF Shali) and Argem were there too. Went to line up and score tickets for the Dark Knight, got the tix for the 10:45P show. Ok, gotta lotta time to kill. We hung out at San Mig and drank draft beer till showtime. Was blown away by Heath, this was his best movie ever. In fact, THIS was the best Batman movie ever :-) Met up with Owen and Paige right after and did some catching up over mango daiquiris. Love love!

I hate the thought of going to the gym. It's hard work and gets you all sweaty. I cringe at the sight of athletes with seemingly inexhaustible supply of sweat which don't just trickle but POUR out. Every now and then, Vincent and I will have the "gym-is-good" or "endorphins-are-the bomb" convo. To which I would always retort "But I've got nothing to wear."
On our way home from Tagaytay yesterday, we passed by the Paseo Mall in Sta. Rosa to check out the Adidas and Nike outlet stores. He was deadset on getting me cross trainers for the gym. Naturally we lingered at Adidas and ogled at vintage Sambas (Vincent) and uber-expensive Stella McCartney gymwear (me).
We finally settled with a pair (last pair as always) that was really pretty and light. I'm not a huge fan of trainers coz I think they're too chunky, but hell this one works =) So (in ghettospeak), I aint got no excuse not to go to the gym no more hehehehehe ;-p
For Father's Day dinner, the fam went to Town and we passed by the Adidas store yet again. Got two sweatpants on sale =) Adidas overload! Adi Dasler must be so proud.

You can DL Crimefighter here.
On our way to work one night, Vince and I decided not to go. We rationalized that all the extra hours we put in everyday actually make up for one whole day. So yeah that sounded right. I feigned a tummy ache and texted my boss and went on my first-ever "SL" ever.
We got his kick-ass Olympus SLR which had switches that rival a spaceship and searched for things to shoot. Look! The moon looks extra big and yellow tonight, let's shoot that! While driving to get a great spot, we lost the moon. Can it actually disappear in a matter of minutes? I guess it can. Sigh.
So off we go to a deserted area in the Madrigal business area. Yeah, in the South, even the business district can get deserted. So unlike other couples who look for spots to make out, we were looking for a spot to shoot hehe..Here are some of our best shots.
We fiddled a bit with his cool gadget (I know what some of you guys are thinking!! It's not that ok!) and got this cool shot of Madrigal Ave.
Yes, it's official! I'm going to the F1 race in Singapore! It will be the first street race in Asia (ala Monaco) and is one of three races in the 2008 F1 calendar to run anticlockwise. AND it will be the first race held at night in F1 history. I am sooo psyched! I get to watch the practice run, qualifying round and the race itself..Weee! Can't wait for September!
